About
Wallcoat™ Architectural Services began operations in NJ in early 2007 following successful launches in Long Island and Florida beginning in 1997. In the past few years, additional dealerships have been established in Staten Island, Eastern LI, and Westchester, NY.
Wallcoat has been one of the most successful pioneers in the home coating industry and prides itself on our industry leading 15 year warranty against cracking, peeling, chipping, or flaking of it’s ground-breaking proprietary exterior coating, Cerama-Shield. Our warranty is simple…if your home or commercial building exhibits any peeling, etc during the warranty period due to product failure, we’ll fix it free, including labor. We’re not going to just hand you a coupon for a replacement bucket of paint like traditional paint companies.
Unique to the New Jersey dealership, Wallcoat has expanded it’s services to include several new and exciting coating products such as LiquiStone for which we’ve established a new unit to specialize in the installation of this rapidly growing product. LiquiStone is composed of actual micronized stone, primarily granite and feldspar, in a low VOC, water based acrylic resin. Most installations of LiquiStone are considered permanent and carry extended warranties up to 10 years. LiquiStone can be applied to just about any hard surface including concrete, wood, tile, masonry, wallboard, plaster, linoleum, and vinyl and is great on exterior decks, patios, pool decks, garage and basement floors, warehouse floors, walkways, porches, and driveways as well as interior walls, bathrooms, kitchens, countertops, playrooms, basements, kids rooms, laundries, hotel rooms, hospital rooms, and restaurant dining rooms…just about anyplace that gets sustained usage but must be easy to clean and beautiful to look at.
Other really useful products we use are…
- Nansulate – a revolutionary thermal blocking (not reflective) agent that can be placed on roofs, in attics, on painted interior walls and ceilings to block the transmission of heat. Nansulate is not a replacement for insulation but can add up to 30% additional energy savings.
- Cedar-Shield – an emulsion of cedar tree oil and silanes (a silicone derivative) which penetrates wood cells and replaces the extra-cellular and intra-cellular water content which mimics the petrification process of wood. It is a one time, lifetime treatment that causes the wood to harden, resist cupping, splintering, and cracking as the wood ages, and repel bugs, molds, and mildew.
